Driving late and had to find a place to stop. This place was great. Clean, very comfortable, easy on and off highway, friendly staff, affordable! Our stay was brief but we were toward the back and there is a lovely courtyard with an outdoor pool.

The staff at the desk were helpful and checking in and out was fast and easy. My room was clean, quiet, and spacious. I only stayed one night, just to have a bed and a shower, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The property looked nice and spacious as well. I think it should be advertised more clearly that the hotel is right next to some train tracks. I didn't mind them passing by, but others might not like the noise.

Little escape

It was a quick overnight stay, the room was nice. Area safe enough to walk a few blocks to get dinner (college town). Only had an issue with my door and lock (it worked but very difficult), I let them know at checkout and they emailed later that it was fixed. I would definitely go back!

This is the 4th time I stay here and I really love the hotel. The staff the manager was so helpful. I didn’t know about a deposit and the manager help me thru the check in process. I will definitely choose this hotel every time I come to Dekalb.

Third time and as always excellent service. The room always ready always clean. The check in quickly, check out as well. The staff is so helpful and kind. I never reserve any other hotel when I come to DeKalb from Puerto Rico.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly. We found cleaning rags on one of the beds and there was a lot of hair in the tub. We were concerned about the railroad that ran close to the property, but we were tired and only heard trains a couple of times through the night.

The outside of the property does not reflect the room and experience. Room was large and clean, beds comfy, very quiet, plenty of hot water. No complaints, I am quite happy despite the fact when I first saw the place I was a little worried. Just what we wanted and great price.

Clean & comfortable. A little noise from trains but not bad with AC running. Only complaint is in room coffee maker. Water reservoir was full of mold..gross! If you're not a coffee drinker it was fine.
