"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service, Amazing Food, and a Beautiful Resort Our stay at Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya was absolutely wonderful. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, and offers a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. What truly made our vacation special was the incredible staff. A special thank you to Belem from housekeeping for keeping our room immaculate and making us feel at home throughout our stay. Mario at the bar provided outstanding service and always greeted us with a smile. Marcos, Sebastian, and all of the employees we encountered were friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making our vacation memorable. The food and beverage experience exceeded our expectations. Seaside Grill was one of our favorite restaurants, offering delicious meals in a beautiful setting. Market Café provided a great variety of fresh options every day, and the in-room breakfast service was always prompt, convenient, and delicious. We also enjoyed the spa, which was relaxing, peaceful, and professionally operated. Every detail of our stay reflected the resort's commitment to excellent service and guest satisfaction. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation with outstanding hospitality, great food, and beautiful surroundings, Secrets Akumal is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning."

"We enjoyed our stay here, but noted some issues with bathroom cleanliness and quality of the food available. We enjoyed the Adelita restaurant, but the buffet and other restaurants were lacking flavor and variety. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed being pool side and beach side daily but for 5 star resort and for the price, cleanliness and food could use improvement."

"We had a great stay at Grand Palladium Kantenah overall and really enjoyed our vacation. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food, pools, and beach all contributed to a wonderful experience. The main area that needs improvement is the butler service. While the butlers were courteous, I often had to ask multiple times for the same requests before they were completed. Response times were also inconsistent, and there were occasions when messages were not answered promptly. Since butler service is intended to enhance the guest experience, I believe more timely communication and better follow-through would make a significant difference. Despite this issue, we had a very enjoyable stay and would consider returning in the future."

"Save your money and go somewhere else, even the quality of people here is very low. I’m writing this review while still at the resort, with two days left in my stay, and unfortunately, it’s been the worst experience I’ve had at any resort in Mexico. The location is poor and it’s the worst, you can’t get to the beach, because of the seaweed and how the their aide of beach is very dirty, they don’t clean, and the smell is stinky, while most nearby resorts don’t have this issue. What’s worse is the staff’s attitude—many have been outright disrespectful and seem to lack basic hospitality training, and don’t have the basic human rights. You pay too much money to be treated poorly. We were asked to join the Excessive Travelers program, but after the terrible service, we’ve decided against it. Communication has been a major issue; the night manager doesn’t speak English, and the translator was rude, ignoring me completely and speaking only to my husband. We tried to take dessert to our room to enjoy it later. and were told to use the bathroom roll napkins to carry it. We reserved a table at the Italian restaurant to celebrate our wedding, but still waited 45 minutes. When I asked for a window table, I was told to wait another 15 minutes, even though the table stayed empty during our entire dinner. While when we were late for 30m to the Asian restaurant, we were told that we missed our reservation because we were late?! It’s extremely disappointing to be treated this way, especia"
