「Staff was great. I made a mistake in my booking and they accommodated me. This is not a fancy place, but it is clean, and rooms are cleaned every day. My room had a coffee maker, microwave and small fridge.」

「Howard Johnson goes back a long time. Always like the old world charm of the 50’s and 60’s styling. Only one small quirk was my shower knob did not work and it was broken. Fortunately it was stuck on a reasonable temperature to shower and used it as that. Breakfast was quite meager, very small lounge and limited food choices. But I assume it’s because of the limited space that had there. Overall it was alright and would go there again since my beach location in Clearwater was all but overbooked....

「The staff was short and when I tried to check out, the guy just stood in front of me and played on his phone, then answered his cell phone using his ai glasses and proceeded to ignore me until I said, should I just leave the keys here? Then he decided to help me check out! He was apparently the manager on duty so this is extremely sad! 「I was unaware of the stairs to get to the rooms. I was given a room on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator to use to bring all of my luggage. The night before checkout, I called the front desk to ask if an Uber would be able to pick me up at 4:30 am and would be allowed onto the premises. I was told that I should have the pickup be the clubhouse and I could have a tram arranged to pick me up at 4:00 am.
