"Room ok, bathroom great, staff spot on but building and room way too hot in March, noisy especially 6am deliveries to Waitrose and the doors to the rooms feel like the walls are going to collapse when they close!! Nice bed but shame we couldn't have a good night's sleep in it!! "

"The room was clean. The door was a bit broken and one or two fittings needed to be replaced (very minor issues). The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the breakfast was excellent. My only observation on that was that not all the hot items were on the buffet at the same time. Not the biggest problem but I like to get my food and sit down without having to keep getting up to see if the fried eggs and black pudding had appeared. Having said that, this will definitely be our first choice of hotel when we come back to Newcastle. One other suggestion- it would be helpful to have a footpath from the entrance gate to the hotel door."
