「The room was clean and nice enough, but the view of the lake was obstructed by an adjacent building. The gardens were not very impressive and the pool and hot tub were not good. The exercise equipment and "arcade" were basically a few pieces in an outdoor storage area. The staff and owners were very nice and helpful. You can take a ferry from Stresa to Islo Bella, which is very nice, but parking is difficult and it is very crowded. 」

「Das Hotel ist von der Konzeption eigentlich ein Motel. Jedes der Zimmer hat eine Tür zum Parkplatz. Das erleichtert das Aus- und Einladen. Keins der Zimmer verfügt über ein Fenster. Da die Türe zum Parkplatz milchverglast ist, ist das bei längerem Aufenthalt ein Nachteil. Ausser dem Bett besteht die Einrichtung der Zimmer aus einem wuchtigen Regal. 「Das Zimmer war sauber und großzügig. Das Frühstück frisch und ausreichend. Das Abendessen war hervorragend! Die Angestellten waren freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Man hatte einen super atemberaubenden Blick auf den Luganer See und der Lago Maggiore war mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir haben immer einen guten Parkplatz bekommen und die Auffahrt zum Hotel war zwar schon eher für geübte Fahrer, sollte jedoch für die Meisten kein Problem...

「Hotel is nice enough and clean with good lake views and just a quick walk to the water. It is further away from the station, boats and most shops but the panoramic walk between is very nice. I booked this hotel specifically partly due to the mentioned airport shuttle for a surcharge listed on expedia which does not exist. They offered to call a taxi for €180 which is hardly a "surcharge". Also I was frustrated by the lack of coffee or kettle in room; there was a breakfast available but hours...
