"Room was spacious and clean, the staff were super nice and helpful, from the doormen, front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff. The pool was clean, not crowded and fun for the kids. The Premium Lounge for snacks and refreshments available throughout the day was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good. It’s an older hotel, but generally well maintained, and the location is convenient, across from Bambu City Center mall. The Bambu City Center was also a meeting spot for our tour company, so that was very convenient. We had a great time in El Salvador and enjoyed our stay at the Barceló San Salvador. "

"The hotel is functioning as a blend of two brands (Plaza and Hilton), the front desk usually had three agents. However the check in time is very slow, the process for check in takes too long and my rooms were not ready by 5 pm. This resulted in me advocating for my family and request an expedited experience, which was handled good and we were upgraded. I suggest improve housekeeping staffing or linen dynamics so the rooms are ready by check in time. It’s not fair for front desk to have to apologize on behalf another department’s mistakes, it’s emotionally exhausting for them and sincerely handling standards and policies for two different brands in the same building is ridiculous. Are you plan to have half and a half uniforms too?"

"The room assigned was on a place where construction were ongoing, we has to request for another room, staff was really nice and assigned a suite , hotel had some kind of party and was very noise also around parties going all night long, is a noisy location"

"Paking was limited but, we did not have an issue leaving. You have cars parked behind your car. All of the staff was super friendly, smiling and always willing to help. Rooms were always clean and you could smell the cleanliness. We had a great experience! "
