「We received a very warm welcome and staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Food was plentiful and a good variety. We were given were given a hearty breakfast. Bed was comfortable and location was quiet. The decoration was a bit tired and there was a need for some further plug points in the room so that you could use a hairdryer whilst standing by a mirror. 「This was pur first time at Swinton Park and we'll definitely be back. Our room was beautiful, the grounds are great with plenty of things to do and enjoy and the food was amazing. The best part of our stay had to be the spa though, really well-appointed with lots of attention to detail. We were both super relaxed and sleepy after just a couple of hours. 」

「Highly recommended. Staff are fantastic, all meals excellent, the lounge and bar areas are really nice. Couple of minor things easily remedied, window plunder in the room was damaged & ash window would not stay open. The shower head badly leaked and just needs a new seal. We went on Motorbikes and parking was easy and secure with fantastic trips out from the hotel. 」

「What I love this hotel the most is the breakfast, its by order and put you feel like on vocation (I am on biz trip). The staff was very nice as well. The hotel location is perfect and nearby market place, very easy to walk around this lovely city. The only thing that need to improve is the internet connection, it was that good in my room.」

「We stayed at the Rose & Crown for an overnight stop, on our way back to Bristol from a weeks holiday in Scotland. The hotel has been there since 1455, lots of history, we found it to be a very cosy and quaint. Real wood fires making the snug cosy and warm. Manager and staff were lovely and friendly nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent as was the service.
