「The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain.」

「Too difficult to deal with, needed to upload ID before the stay and kept sending me a link that I couldn’t click on. Right at the last minute offered to text me the link so I could copy it, was too late by then. I decided to stay somewhere else. Wouldn’t recommend.」

「My husband and I, along with our dog, have just spent a wonderful week at Garden View. The hosts, who live in the main house at the address, Steve and Judy, were welcoming and friendly. The property is situated in a perfect place for exploring South Devon with a bus stop just yards away that runs hourly to Brixham min one direction and Kingswear (for Dartmouth via ferry) in the other. 「Nice flat near Plymouth Uni and walking distance to local shops. Access was a bit painful as tbe access code did not work but soon resolved by contacting customer services. Some of the property info such as wifi network and password were not correct either so they need to update their comms. Otherwise the flat was comfortable and had enough cutlery and crockery for 4 (other than bowls). On site parking is a bonus but the open and overflowing trash bins were unsightly and not very welcoming」

「We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place.」
