"Love the proximity of this location, literally only 2 blocks from Virginia Street and the RiverWalk. Hannah's restaurant was delicious for breakfast, pass on food at the Express counter just outside though! Rooms were great, getting to the pool was interesting having to walk out the casino entrance and across a small section of parking lot, but still enjoyable. Overall, Id definitely stay here again because it offered great value."

"This hotel was clean enough, but it never felt really clean. This is more of a property issue rather than the staff. This hotel is seriously stuck in the 1980’s. Golden oak furniture, gold plated features, neither old and quaint or new and clean. The rooms did not smell like cigarettes though, and that is a big plus for Reno. The pool area is pretty nice and the have a whole floor dedicated to public space ( pool, pool table, coffee area, workout room and conference room. Location was pretty good. One block from the river parks and two blocks from casinos. On site parking is available but if you have a tall vehicle it may not be able to get up into the parking garage. We couldn’t decide if we liked it enough to return, which tells me to try somewhere else next time. It is an okay value"

"The great thing about El Dorado is that you can literally get into an elevator (when they’re working) and be dropped right into the action directly from your hotel room. Breakfast & coffee are right outside the elevator. A short walk and you’re in Silver Legacy, then Circus Circus, all without stepping outside. We loved our 700 sq ft room with a hot tub. The elevator door made loud squeaking noises that we could hear from our room. During dinner hour, only 1 elevator was working, and we had to wait 5 minutes to be picked up. About 15 people were waiting when we got off. Otherwise, bars, tables, Rum Bullions, Brew Bros., etc were all nice amenities. Pool was so tiny that we didn’t even consider going in."
