「Just WOW! This was like staying at you eccentric, generous, Bohemian uncle’s place - cool art and artifacts EVERYWHERE, snacks and drink offerings available 24 hours/day, and well appointed, clean, and comfortable “guest” room! The night we came in, I was lucky enough to actually meet Chef “Uncle” John Cariere, the proprietor. He was very welcoming and accommodating and invited us to the complimentary breakfast. 「The good....The room was really clean, the decor was beautiful and the bed was so so comfortable. There was a lot of pillows, the AC worked great, and there were plugs on the bedside walls, next to the side tables to charge phones etc. It was downtown , and the staff was kind. The ok...The bathroom was mostly clean, but dirt was built up in the corners of the bathroom floors, the paint was chipped along the floor boards, the jetted tub showed signs of corrosion. I was really looking...

「It was so-so! No breakfast, no microwave, no bottled water!」

「Unfortunately, the shops on the boardwalk has closed, so not many shops around, but it was a nice stay overall.」

「This was my second stay at this location. For some reason the exterior doors were poorly sealed (2x). Many small bugs flying around room. Had to jam towel in door gaps to try and mitigate.」

She went and found quiche for us. She was so kind. Also, the property is very clean. The room was spotless. The staff overall were just completely welcoming and helpful. Thank you」

「We chose the property based on location. We were not interested in the casino. The smoke smell just walking up to the hotel is strong. The lobby smells quite a bit. As you go away from the lobby the smell lessens and the rooms were great. Every now and then you get a little smoke smell but for the most part you cannot smell the smoke in the rooms. The sports bar was a great place to eat. The pool and hot tub are very small and close quite early for a “resort”. Not sure what the resort fee pays...
