The staff were very pleasant. The food was ok. But there was a very unpleasant smell of sewage and burning plastic in and around our cabin. Our cabin was located at the back od the resort amongst accomodation for staff. At the back and to the side of our cabin were areas being cleared and burnt. These areas were unsightly, littered with rubbish and used to burn rubbish. The smell of burning plastic was inside our cabin. Most frustratingly the

Tolles sehr gepflgtes Hotel

Wir waren von Montag bis Sonntag auf der Insel und sind wirklich zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Es gibt noch 2 weitere Hotels in direkter Nähe. Ohne die Zimmer beurteilen zu können, war unser Hotel sicher das beste, weil die Anlage am besten gepflegt wurde. Die Bungalows waren sehr süß und auch die Einrichtung war toll. Das Bad könnte mal wieder saniert werden, aber man hat sich nicht unwohl gefühlt. Das Personal war richtig Klasse und man konnte vor Ort auch Ausflüge buchen. Am Nachbarhotel wurde man vor Sandflöhen gewarnt. Erst am vierten Tag wurden wir gebissen/gestochen von kleinen schwarz/weißen "Obstfliegen" - denn wir wissen nicht was es war. Die Stiche haben erst Tage später extrem gejuckt und sind sehr groß geworden, sodass wir 1,5 Wochen später in der Heimat ins Krankenhaus sind um entsprechende Medikamente zu erhalten. Im Nachgang soll wohl ein normales Anti-Mückenspray und Kokosnussöl helfen, um gar nicht erst gebissen/gestochen zu werden. Das Personal im Hotel hätte uns sicher auch geholfen.

Super Erholung...einsamer Strand und sehr einsame Insel. Für jeden gut, der die Ruhe sucht. Die Zimmer sind nicht gerade Top, Aber ordentlich und sauber.

Great Stay with Minor Improvement Needed

The room is great overall, cozy and clean. Beach is beautiful. Need improvement on the Wifi, only available at dining area and speed is slow, sometimes even cannot be connected. Food is not bad but less choices. Should have send a single message to remind about the low tide period. I've missed it out as the reminder is at the end of the mail and not highlighted clearly enough. You cannot expect everyone to read through the booking details thoroughly.

Great hotel with friendly staff

We had very good extended weekend at Aseania : hotel is clean, amendies are really good (pool, jacuzzi, pool tables, darts, beach volley,...) with a nice and clean white sand beach just in front. Staff is very nice and manager always present and smiling checking if you are all fine. Even got a nice complementary wine bottle... thanks. Definitely a good place to relax and enjoy Pulau Besar. We will come back

Peaceful getaway!

The visit to Aseania Pulau Besar Resort was good. I wasn't expecting a fine white sand and turquoise water but to my surprise it is. The staff were attentive with our needs. Buffet Dinner was great. The only concern is the water in the cottage room as it seems very wimpy but overall stay was great!

Erholung pur

Gemütliche Anlage mit Erholungscharakter Wer auf sterile Hotels, abseits von Massentourismus verzichten mōchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Anlage ist wunderbar in die Umgebung eingebettet. Die zahlreichen Holzbungalows besitzen eine Terasse, wo man bestens entspannen kann. Die Bungalows sind so angeordnet, dass die Privatspāre auch bei Vollbelegung gewahrt wird. Ein paar erholsame Tage zum guten Preis-Leisungsverhältnis.

Good relaxation place

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights for a full board plan in the resort. As schedule, the boat from Mersing to island would be at 12 pm. When I arrived the resort's Mersing office at about 10 am, I confirmed my booking with its staff and was told the boat just departed due to tide of the sea water level became lower. They said they tried to contact me for the schedule change but it was unsuccessful. However, they immediately arranged another speed boat specially for just 2 of us. When I did check-in, the office lady performed nicely and professionally. All other staff of the resort were also deal with guests politely and patiently. In the stay of the resort, I enjoyed very much in the island. I felt relaxation in the resort. The meal including in the plan was simple but in good standard. I would recommend the resort to others.
