「I really liked the room. Huge bed. I appreciated the ranch slider with a deck looking out into the forest. Very beautiful It almost felt like I was in a different country. Although a little dated, the room was well appointed and very clean. The only down side for me was the light from outside, even with the blind down the room was quite light. That could be a real plus for some people. Great communication and I’d be really happy to stay again. 」

「The Old Oak is a lovely old lady, nicely renovated and comfortable. Mangonui is a small town, and we found ourselves at a loose end, having booked a two-night stay. Unfortunately, the first night we were there, an attempt was made to steal our car parked directly in front (the only parking available), leaving it undriveable. Not the fault of Old Oak, of course, but off-street parking or better surveillance might have made a difference. For no fault of Old Oak, we are unlikely to return to...

「Spacious well decorated, superbly equipped cottage embedded in a lush garden. Walkable to town and restaurants. Quick drive to all the sites. Good hiking nearby. We loved our stay- Anna was a warm and welcoming host!」

「The cottage was so lovely and peaceful being set in extensive gardens and well away from the road. It was also close to many natural attractions - lots to explore around this area. A couple of foot stools or easy chairs would make it more comfortable for lounging at night.」

「My wife and I decided to stay at the Coastal Chalets because of its remoteness and proximity to the far north. We found the place beautifully maintained, with a lot of privacy, quiet and beautiful scenery. We were in Suite C. It was spacious with a luxurious shower, full kitchen, bbq, spa pool and other amenities. We found it was a perfect spot for a romantic get-away.
