「Our stay at Hugo's was perfect in every way! They were so accommodating for us. The building was perfectly situated by the plaza where there was nighttime dancing and music. Walkable all over Old San Juan. Inside things were very clean, quiet and unique. Unique. Glad I didn't go with just another chain hotel. And then the bed... Seriously I was tempted to find the name brand of it. It was so incredibly comfortable!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. 」

「Being “perfectly located” in Old San Juan means you’re within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, historic sites (forts, plazas, cathedrals), and shops. We didn’t have to rent a car, even we had a early flight and was easy to get a uber at 4am. Beautiful colonial architecture. Spacious bedrooms & bathrooms. 「The stay was ok although I made a reservation for one room and they switched me to another. Same happened with another family member. Also it would have been nice to have some complimentary bottled water. The sink was also way too small. So it was a room good enough to sleep in but not necessary one comfortable enough to relax in. 」

「Marly and her father Mr. J.R. were incredibly hospitable and had my room ready earlier than expected, which allowed me to rest after travel. The room is a large suite with a kitchen (free snacks!) and balcony view to the Old San Juan colonial district. Wifi and Tv is included, as well as a comfortable a/c.
