This is my first time booking a non-VIP package and it was not a good experience. Most of the amenities cater to members, chairmans and owners. Something as simple as a cone of icecream. Since it was raining, there wasn't any activities nor entertainments for non-VIP guests. I could not get into any of the restaurants for dinner because the booking caters to the above listed and to those certain agencies. In the 7 days of our stay, we were able to get a dinner reservation for a Mexican restaurant in the premises and the 3 of us got sick. The last 2 days of our stay were not pleasant. Also, we did not have a working phone in our room, which I reported upon checking in. The front desk said they were going to send a technician to fix it and no one ever showed up. If we need anything, we had to go in person to the front desk and wait in line. The resort is gorgeous and it's location, the staff is very professional and friendly. Would I stay there again? Not for 7 days. Maybe I would stay for 2-3 days. I have been recommending this resort for years to friends, family and co-workers. I really would like to see some improvements in what is offeres to those with a regular package.
