Property was very nice and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Ivan at the 5 o’clock swim up bar was the best! The foam party on Saturday was a blast. My only complaints are the lack of a beach and there really wasn’t much to do aside from eat and drink. There were activities throughout the day and we did partake in trivia and Mexican lottery one day. We also made use of the pickle ball and shuffle board courts. I wish they had a nightclub or even a dance floor at the landshark.

Staff was lacking in helpfulness. Dinner options were a very poor selection. No open dinner reservations from the time we landed for our entire 6 day stay. Rooms were nice and they switched us to accommodate a nonworking toilet. Overpriced premium food and booze as well. Point system for snacks and drinks is a absolutely joke! I though an all inclusive was all inclusive!!!??? Took sports flags off our swim up without telling us and had to enquire about where it went to get it back. NOT recommend. Many much better all-inclusive's for the price!

At the moment of arrival you can tell how clean and well maintained the entire property is. The pools, room, bars, restaurants were all spotless. Crews constantly cleaning everything. We had such a great time, the food was varied, delicious and well prepared. The drink service both bar and poolside never left us wanting anything else. The entertainment was fun in the pools, yet we were able to relax and have peace and quiet in our swim up. We are thrilled that we chose to visit

Wonderful stay overall! Entire property kept very clean, organized, plenty of pool options with multiple swim-up bars, and delicious food options, especially with the rotating dinner buffet menus at main Boathouse. Every single meal was tasty. The entire staff was incredible, every single employee worked very hard to provide amazing, friendly, attentive service every day (Laura, Luis, Antony, Yassiel, Jose to name a few...), everyone was amazing and very much appreciated. The staff truly made our first stay in Cancun/Riviera Maya memorable. We also enjoyed the show performers each night in the restaurants, and thought the rooms were very nice and comfortable. The all-inclusive package was worth every dollar very well spent. Thank you!

The one night I was there was great. We travelled for a wedding and had a disappointing experience with Margaritaville and Expedia. A friend in our group accidentally booked the wrong sister resort. As soon as she noticed, she contacted both the resort and Expedia. Both confirmed she would receive a full refund for the mistaken booking, so she went ahead and booked a second stay at the correct Margaritaville property. After the wedding—and after being charged twice—we learned that the resort and Expedia were now refusing to honour the refund they had already confirmed. No one will take responsibility, even though she relied completely on their assurances before making the second reservation. It’s incredibly stressful to be told one thing, act on it in good faith, and then have both the resort and Expedia go back on their word. The lack of accountability between the two companies leaves guests stuck in the middle, and that’s simply not acceptable. The wedding celebrations were beautiful, but this situation cast a pretty big shadow. I’d strongly recommend getting everything in writing and double-checking every detail if you’re booking here—especially if you’re using Expedia. Communication between their staff and the resort is clearly inconsistent, and customers are the ones who end up paying for it.

Pros: staff was very friendly and always helpful, pools were nice and provided quiet and party areas, crowd was a nice mix of couples and groups, omelettes at breakfast, rooms were great, good cocktails in lobby bar, apps and soups at reservation restaurants, breakfast room service Cons: beach was washed away, food was hit or miss, website has outdated restaurant info … there’s only two reservation restaurants and they are tough to get reservations in, most drinks very sugary, late night room service not very good

Room was clean service was a little slow but always kind, pool was beautiful and for a smaller resort it was peaceful and perfect for me! Although I tripped on a mat and fell down the stairs and broke both my feet before we even checked in everyone was so kind and helpful!

The resort is nice. There is no beach though like they show on the pictures. There was no scuba school either. THIS IS NOT A FUN PARTY RESORT. Pick something else. I was bored to death besides eating at the 3 restaurants and drinking at the pool bar over and over everyday. The food is good though.

Rooms were very clean, bright and beautiful. The pools were clean and well maintained daily. The drinks were varied and plentiful. They don't hold back on the alchol. The young lady who worked the last night of the the world series baseball game was extremely attentive and friendly. Lovely young lady served us again on our last night and did a wonderful job. Spa service was excellent! The ladies who did a massage for myself and my friend Debbie were excellent! Food was pretty good overall. It was such a good stay. All the staff were very friendly. Especially the waiters in the breakfast buffet. The girls in the coffee shop also all amazing! Concierge ws very helpful as well. I'm so bad with names and I'm exhausted from a long travel day but had to take a minute to thank all the staff we encountered.

Staff were very friendly, resort was great, we would go back. Room was clean swim up we enjoyed food was great. We were glad we could watch game 7 of the Blue Jays at the sports bar. Over all we had a fantastic time.
