Second time I stayed here. More convenient to stay here instead of in downtown Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park is a beautiful town. Clean hotel, comfortable enough to stay for a couple of days.

We were there on a Friday, late October. We paid over $250 for the night. This seemed like a lot for a plain, simple hotel.

It is very close to the FDR Homa and Museum and the Vanderbilt Mansion which was the reason we went to Hyde park. The room was incredibly dark and cramped

WiFi was AWOL, TV was a problem to turn on, then the images on the screen froze, and the remote control either didn’t work or had a lag of several seconds. The bed was nice.

Hotel in dire need of updates. Dirty and worn carpets. Coffee terrible. Staff nice and beds were clean and comfortable. OK stay for one night, especially when other hotels jack up the prices for the many college weekends in the area.

The only advantage is the location if you plan to visit the Roosevelt Presidential Library; otherwise, it's not a pleasant stay. The entire property needs a refresh and an upgrade
