No frills, good value if not looking for top line chain. Perfect for two guys on a fishing trip. Great grilling area and fire pit. Clean bathroom, new mattress on beds - very comfy, nice basic kitchenette. Clean and good value.

Quiet and Cozy

We only stayed one night at the Starlite Motel. This motel is not like other places we have stayed. It was quiet and it had character. We really liked that our room included a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The backyard area was great for us to relax with friends and play games. I would love to come back and stay longer to enjoy the area and I would definitely take advantage of the grills and fire pit. If you’re looking for “modern” this may not be for you, but if you’re looking for something quaint with a little character, it is perfect. We loved our one night stay and would like to visit again in the future.

Was greeted promptly! Our room wasn’t ready yet because of some issues they were having…they offered to upgrade us but we chose to wait for our cottage room! They were very accommodating to have us relax why we waited! The cottage was so relaxing and quiet! Sat on the porch and listened to the rain fall! Very cozy location!

Outdated, but I could see they had tried to their best to look like a new and clean property with tight budget. It smelled something mold. It could be from old carpet? I wanted to rate 3 stars, but I gave 4 because it’s an excellent location for ski resort and the kitchen area inside room.

Great Place for a Hiker

I’ve read some other comments about this being an older property. Honestly, any motel is going to be older. I found this motel to be in very good condition overall. My room was very clean and very comfortable. It was fully stocked with all of the typical hotel items. The kitchen was stocked with most anything you would need, though I only stayed one night and did not cook. The back yard was full of several small decks, grills, and other items that would allow you to enjoy a summer evening outside. I’ve stayed in a handful of motels as I’ve hiked in the Adirondacks and Catskills regions and this was the cleanest, most comfortable, and best maintained. I would definitely stay here again if I am back in the area doing more hiking.
