Great place to stay for visiting Porto. Breakfast was superb. The Hostel is beneeth a main road. They drive all night, so a bit noisy and bad smell of the cars.

This is easily one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. It was very big, more hotel vibes, so not the most social hostel and a place to meet people, but still worth the stay. Great location!

Delightful!

Relaxed, modern and a pretty unique hostel as it functions with strict processes & procedures like that of a 3-star hotel in a great location. Special unique touches like a "welcome drink", wooden keycard & carpets in hallway common areas.I have enjoyed my stay here special thanks to Thiego, Victor, Maria & Felix and everyone else who made my stay memorable!

Exceeds Expectations

Relaxed, modern and a pretty unique Hostel as it functions with processes & procedures like that of a 3or4-star hotel in a fantastic location near the Douro River. The added unique touches like a "welcome drink", wooden keycards & carpets in hallways as well as extra large storage were unique special touches & greatly appreciated. Perfect location, close to everything! The curtain in the bed and ensuite bathroom is much appreciated! Clean, Many activities. Terrible check in system, asked to sit down and wait to be called in order, then staff completely disregarded their own instructions and starts with new walk ins... Also takes way too long for each checkin process. A bit noisy as expected when central. Quite squeaky beds. The storage under bed is not possible to use a regular padlock.

When all 8 beds in dorm are full it gets a little crowded. Most guests checked out within a day or two… Shower and toilet within a pretty small space and water was getting onto the floor in front of toilet. Sinks for getting ready are open concept and right on the way out so a little awkward. Other than those things it was a good experience and a pretty good spot to meet other travellers. Staff was always friendly and helpful! Right near the Douro river so lots to see and do plus many photo opportunities!

Location was great and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was dirty and there was no toilet paper at all when I arrived at 4 pm so I think there wasn't any cleaning done that day. The small nightstand next to bed wasn't cleaned and was dirty and also some rubbish in the locker. The sinks were in the room, not in the bathroom so I woke up when someone was running the water in the middle of the night.

I would not recommend this hostel. They seem understaffed. Check in was very slow although I registered online “ to skip the line”. The rooms were not cleaned properly. I had to speck to them several times to get a huge mess left all over the floor by a late night party goer. Slick marketing but not a great experience. Needs to get on top of management to make sure rooms are cleaned after each guest and all their junk is removed.

The hostel is located near the river which is nice. This is usually a pretty active area at night so it can be a bit noisy till late night. Close to the metro station (about 10 mins walk) but Porto has a very uneven landscape so be prepared for an uphill climb. The room was spacious and nice. What I really liked was the fact that the room and shower/toilet were in physically separated unlike most hostels in Portugal/Spain. So it's less disturbing if you are in sleep when someone else uses the toilet/shower. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes around so you never run out of options for food. I had a bit of an issue at the reception as they charged me twice for the stay. The full amount has already been paid before my check-in but after my check-out they charged on my card again without notifying me (only received the bank notification). However, they eventually processed a refund but it took more than 3 days for me to receive money which wasn't great (I was already on the last day of my trip when I received the money back so I essentially had to top up my card again due to no fault of my own). This could have been avoided easily if they checked before charging my card again. There's no kitchen onsite to even get some water/refill a water bottle which is a bit of a let down. No free luggage storage. They have lockers for which you have to pay extra.
