「I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was cozy and comfortable, it's a very quiet area convenient to stores and food. There's a walking trail behind the hotel, and indoor pool. Staff was very friendly and eager to help at every turn. If I'm ever near Portland, MI again I'll definitely stay here.」

「Pool was closed,only reason I booked was because they said there was a open pool on site to get there to a closed pool,maintenance said it was open and then immediately the person at the counter said its closed very rudely....If you want a basic over-priced hotel...This is your place.」

「We got this room last minute. We did come in late at night but the staff wasn’t to helpful. Had the front desk closed off and not just late at night, but still in the morning at ten to nine. There was actually a fed ex guy there waiting for someone to take the package along with a couple other customers trying to figure out how to get a receipt for their stay. Kitchen set up would have been better if it had utensils and cookware. Fridge worked so that was the plus for us. It was not clean. Hair...
