Amazing stay with quintessential New England bed and breakfast charm. Easy walk to downtown Kennebunkport. Fantastic breakfast and nice touches like wine available all day.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms and bathrooms were clean and roomy. The house was full of Christmas cheer and Chris made a wonderful breakfast every morning! Coffee was delicious! We had wonderful appetizers served each evening. We enjoyed Christmas movies in the living room after being in town all day. Staying here definitely enhanced our Prelude experience. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Chris the in keeper, seemed friendly enough upon our arrival and helped us with our luggage. He was able to change our reservation to a room on the first floor, which was very convenient for us. He did explain the timing for breakfast the next morning and other housekeeping items. Then promptly disappeared. There was no Wi-Fi and therefore we couldn’t watch television, I did text him to advise him, and he came a couple of times, but nothing was resolved, and there was a message displaying on the television that data had run out in more data had to be purchased. We never had Wi-Fi during our two nights stay nor did Chris explain that we could watch DVD movies. The next morning he came in and placed down the breakfast and promptly left. Never described what it was he was serving. The following morning was the same thing, set the breakfast down and promptly whisked away without a word. I did read reviews that he had been a very friendly host, alas, we did not get to experience this. It is an old house and charming, however, one of the outside steps was missing a good chunk of it, which could cause someone to fall, I almost did. We felt the very awkward vibe being there to be honest. On the positive note, the breakfast food was very good, our bed was comfortable, our room was spacious and clean, our bathroom was small, but very clean. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Chris, the host, was phenomenal. Incredibly warm, helpful and gracious. Overall the property is a little run down and could use renovation. Chris' breakfasts, all homemade through his experience as a chef, were a real highlight.

When we arrived we met a couple from Michigan sitting on the front porch; they joined us for breakfast in the morning. Chris welcomed us, showed us to a second- floor room and helped with the luggage. The room was large and well- appointed with a large bath adjoining it. The morning shower was great with plenty of hot water with pressure. The breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, OJ, coffee, bacon, sausage, toast, Danish and an egg souffle. A delicious walnut bunt cake topped it off.

Great access to downtown. The breakfast was lovely, inn keeper was super nice! Room Was exactly what we needed. Small issue connecting to the WiFi, but didn’t make a difference in the stay!

Location! Location! Location! Gorgeous historical house. Spacious comfortable front porch, bedroom w plush bed, en-suite bath. Innkeeper Chris welcomed us with a complimentary glass of wine and made a gourmet breakfast to include a soufflé, crispy bacon, sausage, warm coffee cake, crescents, fresh berries and wild blueberry jam. Walk 2 town. Wonderful!

Amazing full American breakfast. Chris is an outstanding host. Our room was comfortable and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this B and B. It’s conveniently located to the town and it’s a short walk to shops and restaurants.
