The hotel is under renovation, but suited our needs for a one-night stay. Location is excellent, quick access to the mall, jetport, and interstate. The breakfast was lacking, but there was coffee & toast. We rented a King Suite and found it acceptable. The pool area is being renovated but we were able to swim & the water was warm. The staff is extremely pleasant & welcoming. The hotel has nice potential & they are working on it!

When checking in and throughout our stay the staff were VERY nice. The condition of the pool room is not thay great, the elevator was loud, they might have been in the middle of some construction but there wasn't any signs indicating so. I asked for another towel as we had 2 in our room, and there was none in the pool area, and we were a party of 3, and they did not have any at the front desk. I knew for the price I paid it wasn't going to be a great place, but I was less than impressed.

The Long Creel Hotel changed from being a Hampton Inn last summer. It was sold to a different chain. The hotel had clean rooms, an excellent staff, a pool, and an exercise room. It also had a continental breakfast. The hotel is supposed to be remodeled in 2026 and will include a bar. A nice place close to the Maine Mall. Very reasonable price to stay during the off season.
