it’s a spring mattress so it is loud whenever you move around, and walls are thin. you can hear whenever someone is running in the hallway or if your neighbors are talking

Our bed was creaking soooo loudly. Kept us up all night. I have fabulous video and sound to share. Bathroom door would NOT close unless slammed with all of one's might. Then you have you yank open. Again, keeping the other person up if going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Once again I have fabulous video and photos. Top of pump for the shampoo or soap was completely missing. How in the world did the cleaning staff not notice this. Breakfast: pitiful. Showed up at 9am. Barely anything available. My wife asked the staff or peanut butter and got the reply, "we had some earlier". That is it. Who talks like that and why isn't he getting her peanut butter? I travel extensively and this was horrible. I received a text message from Expedia asking about our stay. Obviously a Bot text. But I replied with issues. Isn't that the point? So why didn't anyone contact me afterward? Please send me a full refund and an apology. We visited Portland, Maine for the first time and our stay was certainly memorable but for the wrong reasons.

Door clearly hasn't closed in a very long time yet it is just left that way.

Personnellement c'est un excellent qualité prix. Le déjeuner était bien aussi. Salle de bains petite mais c'était un petit détail. Les employés ont été super. Emplacement stratégique et piscine chauffée.

Will never go back there - no manager onsite to deal with issues - person responsible for breakfast area very rude - limited breakfast options empty most of the time - had to change rooms 3 times multiple issue - overall disappointment in staff / good location

I actually have not been to a dirtier hotel (and I don't usually stay at fancy hotels) and was very surprised because the reviews made it seem clean. We got to our room and there was a pair of soiled underwear in the bathroom. They switched our room and the new room had bugs and stains in the sheets. They gave us new sheets, but it's very hard to trust the cleanliness when they went 0-2 on the rooms. I'm not sure where all the clean reviews came from but there is a sign in the front desk which says they are no longer owned by days inn and I assume this change is why previous reviews seemed to indicate something very different than what we were met with. All in all best to avoid this hotel.

Carpet and furnishings in need of being updated. Kitchen had the barest minimum of dishes, utensils and cookware. Freezer dripped down into refrigerator. Better offering of fresh fruit than old fruit salad. Hot tub very small for size of this property and then did not work when we finally got opportunity to get in it. Location good for where we wanted to go. Bed was comfortable.

Our stay at Days Inn by Wyndham was okay overall. The best parts were the free parking and breakfast, which added good value. The location is convenient less than 30 minutes to popular attractions like Portland Head Light and downtown Portland. The room itself was a bit small, especially the bed and bathroom, but manageable for a short stay. Not fancy, but it worked for what we needed.
