「I reserved the historic city view option , and what I actually got was a view of the roof, the a/c units and maybe the view of the roof of ONE of the historic buildings. The staff was amazing, however for the price that we paid we should have gotten a discount since we didn’t get the view that we paid for. If you select a historic view option, make sure you are not in rooms 312, 310, or 308.」

「 I've been coming here for about five years. The pool has been closed "for maintenance" for at least three years. Very nice front desk staff. Our toilet had a broken chain and needed to be fixed during our stay. They did it promptly. Lots of deferred maintenance at this property. I took a shower and the water was lukewarm--never got close to a hot shower, yet there weren't that many people staying at the hotel. Rooms are a bit worn but were clean.」

「We arrived late. The management was very helpful with getting us situated and obtaining extra linen. The place was clean. And the view was beautiful.」

「The room is clean, but the soundproofing is very poor—you can hear people chatting in the next room very clearly. Those who have trouble sleeping should be especially aware that the refrigerator is very loud. Since it’s a freezer model, there’s a loud gushing sound every ten or so seconds. Even if you unplug the refrigerator, the noise won’t stop immediately; it won’t stop until the freezer compartment returns to room temperature.」

「The staff is AMAZINGLY kind and welcoming. However, there is no breakfast so don't be fooled with Expedia portraying it as a hotel with breakfast. The do have coffee and juice around the clock. Lots in the area near by to walk to. Other guest was more of my issue than anything within the control of hotel. Fighting at 3AM was obnoxious. 」
