Really ran down. On check in the receptionist mostly just tells you about all of the broken doors and how to use them. It’s next to a rehab and the people in the parking lot look like escapees.

Filthy place, worst ever

The check in attendant was very inattentive and having a conversation with another person who walked in. The room was filthy, sheets were stained, countertop in bathroom had peeling laminate held on with masking tape, no kitchenware AT ALL, deadbolt was broken, elevator was broken, no one was available on the after hours line to report a disturbance! Need I say more??? Worst place I ever stayed!

This place is AWFUL. I saw a roach on the wall, hair left in the shower, filth on the floor next to the fridge. I didn’t even end up staying the night I was so disgusted and shocked that this place is allowed to operate under such poor conditions.

Not impressed. When I got to the front desk they said that they couldn’t check me in because they purposefully overbooked and they don’t have a room for me even though I have a reservation. After getting pretty frustrated all over a sudden a room just magically appears. Over the conditions of the facility are pretty dirty and very bad smells throughout.

Accessible to local WAVE (The Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority) Bus Line from Downtown Wilmington to Monkey Junction with connections via South College Road to destinations West for $2.00 each ride. Walkable distances to established local restaurants within 1-mile like Frontier Food to Go, Sub Stop, Ming Wok Chinese and Los Portales Mexican Taqueria, Savour Southern Kitchen, Taqueria Food Truck & Shaved Ice Stand, Merritt's Burger House, 1504 Resto-Bar and Breakfast House along Carolina Beach Road as well as Fast Food Chains like Little Caesar's Pizza, KFC, McDonald's, Waffle House and BoJangle's Frid Chicken. Well within walking distance or $5-10 Uber Trip to all Novant Health and Wilmington Health Medical Center Facilities in nearby New Hanover County Regional Hospital Medical Center Park and adjacent Medical Facilities for anyone visiting for Doctor's Visits or Surgical Procedures from outside the local area.

Like a half way house

This place is sad and run down. Flimsy mattresses, bare minimum is an understatement. It would be ok for a night or 2 if the hotel policies were not so dehumanizing. I’m not sure what is going on, but the way these people scrutinize you as though you are doing something wrong or will be soon is really off putting. I’m assume everyone who stays here is a human who deserves kindness and a service for the money they are spending on a room. What a bizarre experience. It’s like a half way house atmosphere. It’s sad and depressing.

Despicable

What can I say, anywhere that animals are allowed can’t be that clean and I found that out firsthand. The bed had clean linen but the floors were awful dog hair piled up behind the door and everywhere on the floor. And the hallways were dirty too.

No one at the counter. Had to call and wait 10-15 minutes. Then my key card didnt work , so i had to call again and wait.walls dirty headboards falling off the wall

Awful

The room was not ready when we arrived at 3:30 and check in is at 3. Which ok that’s fine I understand they were under staffed. But the lobby was disgusting and smelled like dog. Then when we came back later in the evening around 7 pm no one was at the desk to check us in. We had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come. Then when we get to the room the floor was filthy and fully of dog hair. It was Noisy, and the bed was terribly uncomfortable.

This place is absolutely horrible. Constant drug deals going on outside and around the vicinity. Numerous drug addicts live in this place. The General Manager Byron Hicks is extremely rude and unhelpful. The rooms are disgusting, ac units falling out of wall, mold in the bathrooms, broken shower heads, uncleaned shower tubs, moldy shower curtains, disgusting bathroom sinks, broken kitchen sinks, drug residue on refrigerator, broken cook tops, terrible internet service, broken microwaves, dirty floors. The list goes on. I know this is a budget hotel to stay in but if you can afford anywhere else please do so. My experience here has been absolutely horrible. This place is absolute garbage.
