Find Green Hotels in Ponta Delgada

I have stayed at Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico five times in the last 18 months. The staff is especially friendly and accommodating. Antonio in particular always greets you with a warm smile and an interesting fact about the island. His quick wit is a plus too! I will always stay at the Grand Hotel.

I recommend this hotel to everyone that visits Sao Miguel! Helpful, friendly employees. Simply the best!

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night and it was our favorite stay in Sao Miguel! The staff were kind and accommodating & even helped us celebrate our 3rd year anniversary. I would highly recommend this place! Extremely clean and the pool and pineapple greenhouse were amazing!

Andre at reception started us off with great hospitality and friendliness and had suggestions for several activities. The room was superb as was the hot springs pool. The hotel had the nicest indoor pool I've seen anywhere. The whole experience was very memorable

We have travelled a lot and for many years. I do not remember ever meeting a hotel staff that was as accommodating, kind, professional, genuinely interested in solving problems than these folks were. The only thing that matches their level of customer care in our experience is the Holiday Inn Express in Saugus Mass. near Boston. Every little thing that I needed was taken care of at the Marina Atlantico including things that were by no means their responsibility. We only stayed a couple of...

this was a tremendous vacation, everything in the hotel is suited to pamper the guests. Service is impeccable, anyone you encounter whether its the chef, the waiters, front desk, spa and even the manager will smile and look for ways to be helpful. the rooms are comfortable and well equipped , the showers are small but nice especially the rainforest head. the hotel's restaurant is the best one we experienced in the islands, the spa and thermal pools are really great after a day of travelling

The staff let us have a room on arrival at 7:00 a.m., instead of waiting until check-in at 2:00 p.m.. The staff provided us with maps, good walking directions, possible tours, and even charged our cell phones on their computer. The breakfast each day was a delight, fresh pineapple and melon, delicious cheeses and baked goods. Ham and local sausage.

Newly renovated rooms. Very large and clean. Great staff. Easy access to all areas on island.

Very good

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights before heading off to Santa Maria for some diving. The place worked out well for us and had everything we needed. It was about a 10 or so minute walk to the water/downtown area and it was safe for us at night. Regardless, a cab was around 5-7 euro I believe. We didn't spend a ton of time in the hotel itself but everything worked well. Room was clean but relatively basic. Upstairs bar with an outdoor patio/small pool was nice, water was hot with...
