「Wasn't much to like we booked 2 nights only stayed for 1 as we decided to drive the 3 hours home then try and slerp in the room again. Room was musty smelling and hadn't been dusted in a very long time. Beds were uncomfortable, dirt or something in the pool and and hot tub that didn't work. The continental breakfast was the highlight and that was average at best. Had other family coming to the area and told them we wouldn't recommend staying there」

We immediately felt right at home as the King suite had a separate bedroom from the large living space. We were not sure how to contact housekeeping as they definitely didn't bother us daily, however, they were present around the property each to ask for fresh towels and a change of the garbage.very friendly, we...

「Love all the restaurants and the beachfront property was amazing for the kids. Love that we could eat our breakfast right on the water. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean.」

「The room was nicely remodeled, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was great and there was room for everyone to find a table. The only area for improvement was the cleanliness of the hallways, and carpeting, which did not smell so good. Fortunately, as soon as we entered our room everything was very nice. Hopefully, they will make the hallways as nice as the rooms soon.」

「It was the cutest modern motel. My husband and I last-minute planned a getaway to Detroit Lakes for our anniversary. I found Beachfront Haven on the “Visit Detroit Lakes” website in places to stay. It was clean, cute, cozy, affordable, and we felt safe in the area. It is across the street from the lake, surrounded by amazing restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!」
