「On the main St so getting around was easy. Room was excellent. As a couple with phones, oxygen, and 2 cpap machines we were pleasantly surprised​ to find many surge protectors, so plugging in was easy. 」

「The room was very spacious and clean. Finding a place to stay as a family with 4 kids isn't always easy, but our room had a king bed, pull out couch/bed, and full size bunk beds. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be staying here the next time we come through. Only complaint was that it wasn't ready at check in time, but the staff was very nice and reassuring while we waited. The strawberry waffles at breakfast are just the icing on the cake for this hotel!」

「Awesome place with a balcony overlooking the Arkansas River in the heart of Salida. Easy to find and prompt communication from the staff. It is a "non staffed" hotel but they were responsive and provided all the details we needed to check in and details on the property. You cant find a better location in Salida, its right on the river and in the middle of downtown. Great restaurants, the town square, shopping, etc all within easy walking distance. Cant wait to get back!」

「The room was great and in a terrific location. Everyone was great except the hostess at the restaurant. She was cold and short with us and needs training and personality! She should greet diners with a big smile and be welcoming, which she was not!」

「The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders. One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature in the room. One of us slept well, while the other woke up feeling hot. If you prefer a cooler sleeping environment, consider bringing a portable fan—and don’t forget an extension...
