"The Cary House is a historic landmark in Placerville right in the middle of hang town. Easy walk to shops, pubs and great places to dine. Love the Cary House and its staff."

"Overall, the place was not bad. The main thing was that the building really, really needed some upkeep, meaning a lot of dry rodt everything old, the texture in the bathroom was cracking. So major renovations are needed. The location was very nice close to the freeway. Very safe and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Overall, not bad. Would I stay there again? Maybe, just for the price."

"This hotel was great. The room was very clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was great, and during our stay we were there for a soccer tournament so lots of kids and families, as well as two collegiate rowing teams! They kept the food coming and the breakfast area very clean, which was quite impressive given the number of people there. The hotel is very conveniently located to shops and restaurants."

"Everything was great other than the elevator not working. They did put me on the 2nd floor to make it easier. Staff was great. Breakfast was great. Parking good and room was nice"

"The room was clean and spacious, pillows and bed very comfy. While there is a funtional kitchen in the room, there was no table to eat at and only one office chair for seating orher than the couch."
