Tropical Winds Oceanfront Hotel

"For a dated small oceanfront resort you got your monies worth. Our room with ocean view was clean, beds were comfortable. Housekeeping very friendly. Furniture was dated but it worked for what we needed. Only issue we had was people leaving their pets in the rooms while out and the dogs were barking so loud. Very pet friendly resort. It should be called the Pet Resort. If you are not a pet lover like me don't stay here, if you are you will fit right in."

"The staff was very pleasant and for an older hotel building , It was clean. The inconvenience was for the entire property There was one ice machine and one elevator because the others were not working."

"I wish the listing disclosed that there was no balcony but that’s no biggie! the honest worst part of the stay was my room door would get stuck! we couldn’t get the door open half the time and the first time it happened was like 2am and the person in the lobby was fast asleep and couldn’t be woken up (they were snoring so loudly at that) but genuinely not anything to make me never stay again! 10/10 would stay again."

"Everything about this hotel was excellent. The room was clean. The staff was very, very nice and professional. I didn’t eat the breakfast from the restaurant. had the balcony with the ocean view and other than not having a microwave. Everything was great. it was better than the Hilton as far as I’m concerned, you will not be disappointed."

"1. Easy access to a beautiful beach, just a few steps away. 2. Nice big pool with kiddie pool and hot tub. (older) - although, our focus was the ocean. 2. Great housekeeping. 3. Great location to Daytona Beach community. 4. Excellent pre-paid breakfast. 5. Excellent food at dinner. 6. Very nice older facility, not perfect. 7. Great beach experience - the main purpose for our trip. 8. All the rooms have nice beach view."
