「The room is big, clean and well-equipped. The tiny garden just outside breakfast area is beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast is simple but fresh. Staff are nice and helpful on giving information and advice, e.g. Elena is hard-working and problem-solving. Manuela cooks for guests' breakfast. Paolo drove me to the train station when he saw my big luggage and knew that my backbond suffered from pain. This hotel is not in the very center of Lucca but still convenient enough, as the old town which is...

A fare la differenza sono state le proprietarie: due persone di una gentilezza d'altri tempi, incredibilmente accoglienti e davvero disponibili ad andare incontro a ogni nostra minima esigenza con il sorriso. 「First trip to Italy...location of the hotel was perfect. Monica was friendly and helpful...room was clean ....air conditioning welcome....Breakfast.....was ok but never had to go to another premises for it (was at a cafe round the corner which wasn't explained when booking). Would go room only if went again as cost of coffee and a croissant was less than the 10 Euros we were alloted.」

「Excellent hotel with staff who were very friendly, helpful and great with languages. Great pool with loungers and cafe area adjoining with lush gardens. 8 minutes from Lucca walls and quiet area. Lovely reception area good for relaxing. Bikes available in hotel for hire are perfect for Lucca exploring.」

「This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Lucca, 10 minutes from the station, although a little climb to get through the city walls. The continental breakfast was welcome, although a little strange that you had to approach the staff for a coffee or hot water rather than the other way round.」
