The stay was average overall. Internet service was weak (had to stand at the door for a signal), and there was no hot water during our one-night stay. We were charged an additional fee for a third guest, our daughter, which was unexpected, as other hotels usually do not inquire about the number of guests especially if the room sleeps 4. There was an old odor to the corridors and a bit of the room. Washcloths were not initially provided and had to be requested. We turned the pre-historic tv on just to see what was on however the signal was as expected. On the positive side, it is located very close to the airport, the complimentary shuttle service was prompt and reliable. Breakfast was prepared to order with minimal wait time, and the staff were friendly and courteous. Very quiet hotel. Overall, the service from the staff was pleasant, but the amenities and room readiness need improvement to match expectations. For a solo traveler without the need for internet or tv, the experience may be more suitable.

Really close to Piarco and with complementary shuttle it’s very convenient. Staff at front desk shirt and rude, no coffee in room and front desk could Not supply as she said it’s based on availability and they don’t supply hand towels only bath towels. Only stay for one night

The lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly. We arrived at 8pm and the first room smelled damp and moldy. She switched the room and it was much better. Unfortunately the shower water never got hot and remained luke warm even after running it for a while. Also the water from the sink was brown at times so we used the bottle water in the room to brush our teeth. It was only one night and by the time we saw the issues we were too tired to ask for another room change. I took the airport shuttle and the security guard drove the shuttle. He did not assist me with my bags. The hotel seemed understaffed and under maintained despite the surface appearance.

The shower was great hot water in 2 seconds and good water pressure. It's a cool and quiet place excellent for sleeping. To be honest a coat of paint and it can be graded as 5 Star

The property is missing something Breakfast only free option nothing else available Meetings were held in dining area while trying to eat breakfast More furniture needed in rooms to lay items down in bathroom and bedroom Room prep could be better as condom wrappers found in night stand Wrong faucet in lavatory installed Closet door catch needing repair Soap dispenser covers broken Bathroom door latch installed backwards Other wise it’s a great location and looks very nice inside Better Managent can bring this place up to par with other hotels

The staff members were nice, friendly, and very helpful. However, the property's upkeep is poor. The mattress in the room was really hard, there was poor lighting, and there was an air of mustiness.

A hide away haven

It's a good run to place.. as being close to Malls with shuttle service, surrounded with places to eat..near airport for youe escape back home.. Hotel service,anything you're not comfortable with they comply to improve ... that part being said it's a comfortable stay... drawbacks you're far from the city, too far for shuttle service. Personally I will revist. See,I do rent a car. All in all for comfort,security and a quiet stay you're home...

The property itself is possibly 5/10. Close and conveniently located to the airport. The towels smelled like wet used towels just folded and left to dry. It left an unsettling lingering smell on my skin after using. The rooms could do with a bit of charm to elevate the experience at the price point they are listed for. The reception staff was very pleasant and helpful though.

The building itself was large, basically empty, cold and uninviting. The room was comfortable enough, but lacked certain basic amenities: - two large towels and a mat for the floor were the only towels provided, no small towels or face cloths - no stand that a suitcase could be placed on, necessitating use of the bed for that purpose - the showerhead was plced directly over the drain, thus meaning I had to stand directly on the drain or slightly to the side where there were a couple of chucks of grout stuck to the floor - the two women at the front desk were pleasant and quite helpful, however, the two shuttle drivers were morose and uncommunicative. Overall, my experience was less than expected. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express. Instead It's a bit farther from the airport but a world away in terms of facilities, amenities, and service. Plus the breakfast is far superior.

The staff were friendly, eager to help. Hotel transportation to/fr airport fast- after the hotel was able to be contacted. 3 minutes from terminal, 30 minutes to Port of Spain. None of the phone numbers on the website were working numbers. At the front desk I was given 1 (868) 468.8116 which did work. In-room coffee pods were "out of stock" Shampoo dispenser in shower was empty. No wash cloth was available Flatware on tables was wrapped with same lo-budget paper napkins used on tables. Bar was only open during my 3-night visit; beverages were served in dining room. Food was good at hotel. Several item on menu were not available during my stay. "Doubles" at the terminal outside food court were incredibly good, and the Owner was very helpful trying to call hotel which didn't work for her either. I would stay again if working at the airport, but not for a holiday visit.

Was concerned because there were very mixed reviews. I was just overnighting in Trinidad and had an early flight. Wanted a hotel close to the airport, walking distance if possible. Couldn’t book on the hotel website and tried calling. The person at the other end of the phone said “I can’t hear you, if you are there call me on my cellular “ and have a number. I tried that but didn’t get through. It was not on some of the hotel booking websites but was on Expedia so booked it there. Walked from the terminal, about 10 mins alone the side of a dual carriagway and around a busy roundabout. Easy walk but a little dangerous without footpaths in some places. Hotel looked grood , initially staff at reception were not particularly welcoming but efficient. Room was great , clean and modern. Had dinner in the restaurant food good, staff not friendly initially but warmed up a bit.. Overall a good place for an overnight stay with an early flight.

Upon arrival after 1am in the morning. The security guard, did not budge at the gate to see if I was a guest and needed to enter the premises. I had to come out of my car to ask if this was the entrance. The staff did an adequate job, switching my rooms from what they originally assigned, to a two bedroom which I requested. They offered me a ground floor unit which was convenient for my elderly mom. However, they checked the room and said it was ok, however, after setteling in and getting ready for a bath there was no towels, rags, or hand cloth. I went to the front desk and she proceeded to hand me 1 hand towel. I asked for a full set, for both guest. She said she can only give me one at the moment, but someone will bring another one. Non ever came and I shared this via checkout the next day. Also, the bathroom appeared incomplete. The shower either needed a door, or a separation to not allow water from the standing shower to spill over into the toilet and vanity area. It was a mess and was worried that I would have slipped... and no towels to step on the floor to wipe up the water. Breakfast was good.

Everything didn’t go well you guys really need to upgrade and update this place. This is not a hotel. This is a 2.0 motel. Sorry to be so rude and abrupt however, horrible horrible horrible will never ever stay here at this place again ever
