No elevator which made taking up our luggage up and down hard . Staff was nice but didn’t clean room everyday, older appliances but you honestly get what you paid for if you are on a budget this would be good . Right by walking market so lots of places to eat at

Great place and great hosts! Sayfon made me feel very welcome and was so nice throughout my stay. Clean, comfy, great location. This will be where I stay every time I go to Phuket!

Our stay at Sue @ Cozy was very pleasant. The accommodation is within the Kata Walking Street Market, which was a very convenient place for food and drink! The room was quiet, well equipped, relatively comfortable, and the staff was attentive. One thing we’ll mention is that since Sue was away on holiday (we came during the low/rainy season) the bar downstairs was not open. Not a problem though, as there were many options in the surrounding area. Overall, would recommend!

Wonderful guesthouse, stepped out right into Kata night market where we had most of our food. Beach is a 12 minute walk. Lots of other food and shopping options. Didn't mind not having elevator, but the only issue was the beds were very uncomfortable with no option for a mattress pad.

Good value for your money

Good value for the money, staff is friendly and the location is superb. There was renevation going on for few days during our stay which gave some noise issues. This is something that Sue’s guesthouse has no say and can not affect it. Overall i enjoyed our stay, good value for the money overall.

This was our second visit to Sue’s Cozy Guesthouse. It’s great value for money if you’re on a budget. Simple but clean, tidy and a nice cool good size room. Sayfan is an excellent host and is always smiling and helpful. It’s a short walk to Kata Beach and the night markets are literally right outside with all the local food you could want.. There’s a nice bar downstairs with every sports channel you could want if that’s your thing. Highly recommend!

after arriving at sues we were greeted well and the room was very clean and tidy, there is a balcony which overlooks the entrance to the night market which is not too noisy and is great if you are into people watching. the problems we had with the area was the food which if you have been to thailand before as we have many times you will find it lacking. the food at the night market is also very bland and obviously overpriced. having been to phuket many times but never having stopped in kata before all we can say is there are much better areas of phuket to stay....

The hotel was an extremelt convient area as the night market is right outside your door and beach is around a 10 minute walk (although it is uphill). Can be noisy at night due to the night market and tidying up. The host wasnt very welcoming upon arrival, which was very disappointing qs this was very different from the reviews we previously read. Also there was a problem with the flush on the toilet.

The location was very central to everything, which made getting around super easy. The owner was lovely and very accommodating, even when my flight was delayed by two and a half hours. The bed was a little on the firm side, but overall it’s a great little room with everything you need.

Great for people who want to be right at the action of the indoor market. Perfect for us and the owner was lovely and runs a fantastic bar. I would not hesitate to book this accommodation again and we enjoyed our stay.

For those who have difficulty ask for a lower floor the place has no lift. The stairs goes to the 4th floor.

The only good thing about this stay was how close it was to the beach. Contrary to the reviews I read, I was beyond disappointed. Sheets and towels had stains all over them it was disgusting. Staff was so incredibly rude - I couldn’t believe the way I was spoken to on multiple occasions. They do not have a card reader and I had to pay in cash just an FYI to anyone staying here if you “reserve now, pay later”. Overall felt uncomfortable, I regret not just spending extra to stay somewhere I felt safe.

I was disappointed that the entrance was a liquor bar. No elevator, and no staff to assist with luggage, only one person show. Though the person was nice, the lack of resources was bad. I had to go to the street to hire someone and pay extra to help with the luggage. I spent the first night there and couldn’t sleep because the bed was so hard it felt I was sleeping on a rock. I had to book with another hotel. The location needs a serious makeover. Like I said, the lady that runs the place was nice but the place was uncomfortable. A better description should be provided to avoid misleading. Thank you
