"The best part of the hotel was the beautiful view of the lake. Also loved the great breakfast buffet. The room on the 2nd floor was very hot when I arrived around 10:30 PM. I was unable to cool it off as the thermostat did not appear to work. There was a door leading outside but when I attempted to open it to get air, the door appeared to fall forward away from the hinges, Not sure what type of design this would be unless the door was actually broken. Only stayed one night but paid for two nights due to a snafu with our travel plans."

"Enjoyed our two days here. Hotel is in a great location. Hotel is old so expect a classic Swiss waterfront hotel. Nice break from a modern hotel. Staff did great!"

"Where to start? The view across the lake was a wonderful. And the staff! They were amazing and so friendly and helpful. They took the time to provide little extras at breakfast or helping to suggest local activities. Next the breakfast was wonderful too. Fresh cheezes, bread, eggs, well seasoned bacon, fresh fruits and pastries made for a scrumptious meal. The pool though small, had an amazing feature that I wasn't expecting; hydro foot massage! After a long day hiking my feet were completely restored. Then I hung out in the spa for a while. The spa was time well spent. The surrounding town of Weggis was quiet and totally Swiss. And the staff (Victor) was happy to take us via a courtesy shuttle to and from the local boat station. He, like all the others bend over backwards to be helpful and kind. Oh...and in the evenings there was life piano music down in the restaurant. All around a great experience that I would do all over again next year. Stay here, you'll love it!"

"We only stayed for one night as we on motorcycles trsvelling back to the UK from lake Como. We had dinner at the restaurant and I can confirm it's was truly delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a typical old swiss chalet with loads of character and it was comfortable, not 5 star but it met out every needs"
