「We really enjoyed staying at The Monte Vista during the Sourwood Festival. It was great to walk to town to eat and attend the festival. The hotel is old but very charming. It has a lot of stairs and no TV in some rooms, so be sure to book a room accordingly.」

「It was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request.」

The penthouse was phenomenal… very VERY Spacious, and offered all of the comforts of home with 2 bedrooms, kitchen area and plenty of comfortable seating. Nicely decorated w lots of attention to details. If we return, would 100% book this again!」

「Dirt road/drive. Not a lot of room for navigation, but enough room to move around. The house was quaint and perfect. Check in was an envelope left on a table. Perfect! Serves a purpose for a one night stay. No refrigerator and limited outlets. Would stay again!」
