「While the cottage was in a lovely location and it was great seeing the old trains going past occasionally, we were actually a little disappointed with it otherwise. The cottage was quite grubby in places, especially the kitchen extractor fan which had dirt and grease dripping from it. There was also a lot of cobwebs scattered about. 「Property as described. Excellent location by the harbour and close to town, but also very quiet. Secure parking. The property was well equipped, clean with a thorough file on the property and how to use everything available. Dog friendly and being ground floor made access easy. Would recommend and we would stay again. 」

「Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! 「The lovely cottage was not as clean as it could be. Great location, comfy bed and furniture, finished to a high standard, lovely log burner and decor. 」

「Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.」
