Excellent staff, very accommodating! The homestay is in a wonderful area. Rooms are slightly old (was told renovations are happening soon) but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Property is walking distance to the beach (be aware you need to pay small fee to enter the beach). Hotel has really nice setting with beautiful pool and gardens, relaxing atmosphere. Room was neat but bit of mould on the walls and bathroom has a strong sewage odour. Ants are a problem in the room though. Reception area under renovations so a bit of construction noise. Also beach club near by with loud music on one of the nights we stayed. But the area is for the younger visitors. Staff is super helpful and friendly, we arrived late and there were people to help contact the manager to help check in. It is further away from restaurants but it’s only a scooter ride away. Nothing much within walking distance. Great massage place across the road and mini mart for drinks and snacks. We would stay there again.

We booked and paid for two rooms and only got one with one bed only. The room was putrid smelling and there was noisy contruction going on as well. You had to climb through the construction to get to the airport and breakfast.

Really disappointing

The garden was ok but the rest was in really really poor condition, bathroom dirty with spiderwebs, crawling with ants no strainer in the shower or sink, the door didn’t close either.. stained towels and sheets. There is a club next door blasting music until midnight and the walls are so thin you can hear the bikes and people puking in the backyard.

I do not recommend staying here. Our room was horrible. It smelt like sewage and the bathroom in particular reeked. There was no exhaust fan, only a hole in the ceiling, open for bugs to crawl in. The drains were disgusting; the shower drain had old hair clips and extensions with hair in it, hardly seemed like they tried to clean at all. The bathroom door also didn’t close which allowed the smell to seep into our room. One day our pipes seemed to block and the water back flowed up, flooding the bathroom and leaving a disgusting smell, we had to leave for the day; blasting the aircon and all windows open. The bathroom was just appalling. The room was also terrible for sleeping. The fan/aircon was abnormally loud all night seeming to turn on and off, making it impossible to fall asleep. On the other hand we were very disappointed in the complimentary breakfast. We expected simple and basic, but the breakfast we received was revolting. The toast was stale cold bread and the pancake was sludge. We ended up going out for breakfast after the first day. Staff are nice but not very welcoming or accommodating to any of our needs. Location was very far from shops or the main area which we didn’t realise. The only good comment we have about this stay is the pool was nice. DO NOT STAY HERE

Es ist ein solides 3 sterne hotel. Die familie ist super nett und macht jeden tag ein leckeres Frühstück. Das Bungalow war auch sauber hatte viel platz und eine Klimaanlage. Der Pool ist mittig der Anlage und war sauber und ziwschen bäumen super gelegen. Die Lage ist direkt am Dreamlandbeach und in unmittelbarer Nähe des El Kabron. Gegenüber ist ein supermarkt und fußläufig auch ein rollerverleih.

Helt okej

Helt okej hotel för priset. Nära havet och stranden ,men inte nära något annat. Så vill du bara ligga vid poolen eller vid havet är detta hotel för dig. Vi bodde här i 6 nätter , helt okej rum , liten pool men den räckte till. Dock inget städ på hela veckan , men det kanske bara är så där ? Men absolut ett bra hotel. Trevlig personal.

The property was well kept, with nice gardens. The rooms were simple but clean. I found the place quite isolated though, not near any shopping or restaurants except for some lousy ones on the beach.

Die Unterkunft ist süß, der Pool ist schön und der Garten auch. Das Essen ist okay und etwas über dem preislichen Durchschnitt. Leider ist abgesehen vom Dreamland Beach fast nichts zu Fuß zu erreichen und Grabs fahren nicht bis zur Unterkunft. Man ist daher auf einen Roller angewiesen!

I arrived very late, 12.30am, after a disastrous taxi "excursion", but there was someone waiting who checked me in efficiently. The room was excellent, very clean. The property itself was beautiful, with lovely grounds, pool area and the staff were extremely helpful. Would, and am, staying again.

A Bit of a Sad Case

This was a bit of a sad case. The staff was very friendly and they tried their best but things just didn't work out the way they were supposed to. When we arrived, we were greeted by a big cockroach on the bathroom door. Also, there was no running water, which proved to be a constant problem. Most of the time when we did have running water, the pressure was very weak, making showering a long and tedious process. In the last morning we didn't have any running water at all. All in all, we were supposed to have a Deluxe Room, but I am sorry to say: there was nothing deluxe about it - it was a very basic room with air-conditioning and a private bathroom. No chair, no desk - just a bed, a cupboard and some shelfs. The wifi was ok - when it worked. A couple of times I had to go to the reception to inform them about the dead wifi and they managed to fix it. The room was pretty clean when we arrived (except for the roach) but it was never cleaned during our three-day stay; not even were the trash bins emptied. The breakfast was ok, but preparing it took always very long time, as practically everything in the hotel. The swimming pool was rather small and the water in it quite misty, not clear at all. The location was pretty much in the middle of nowhere. There was a beach within a decent distance but everything else required a scooter, which we rented at the hotel. The scooter was a bit beaten but it run pretty well. The garden was nice and tidy.

Comfortable clean room but bathroom had a bad smell to it. Otherwise good value for money, friendly staff, lovely clean swimming pool and able to organise tours/taxis/trips.
