We tried not to nitpick as hotel is new. But by the end of our 4 nights stay, we were really disappointed. This is not an establishment living up to Accor standard.
Just some of the things that did not go down well:
1) We found hair twice - once on a plate at the breakfast buffet & once at the bottom of an acai bowl we ordered from the restaurant.
2) Room was not cleaned properly - stains leftover from previous lodger in room and toilet. Tissue box was empty by our second day, but not replenished.
3) Wrong utensils/crockery being used at breakfast.
4) We left our room for 5 hours and returned to find room still uncleaned even though we had indicator for housekeeping services on.
5) Noisy even planned but guests only informed couple of hours before event start. Noise went on till 10pm which could be heard clearly from most guest rooms.
The hotel is not conveniently located near Ubud town by car, much less by foot. There is a long runway for improvement if guests are to be enticed to stay so out of their way. I definitely did not feel my stay was comfortable enough to warrant the inconvenience. This stay also made me question if it was worth it for us to continue to be paying for Accor membership.
