「Absolutely amazing views! Quiet, peaceful, right on the beach. Felt like we were staying at a private beach house. Room had plenty of space, air conditioning worked well, beach towels for water activities. And a central living room and kitchen with spectacular sunset views and relaxing chairs to lounge. 「The views were awesome, we had bungalow 1 right by the water. The cleaning staff was great ! I would stay here again. It had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, so we were able to have breakfast and lunch at our room. Book the restaurants nearby ahead of time, it is not always possible to get reservations or get into some places.」

「Cook’s Bay is one of the most wonderful places we’ve ever stayed, and we’ve stayed at many fantastic places around the world. The staff was amazingly nice. The rooms were spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The air-conditioning worked. The showers were hot. The towels were first class. Most important for us was the amazing snorkeling right off the edge of the property and the amazing views of the beautiful mountains of Moorea. We saw sharks, turtles and rays along the beautiful coral reef...

「We stayed at hotel Fenua for 3 nights in the romance suite during our 18 night honeymoon. Of the 7 lodgings we stayed at - this was by far the most unique place. Staff was very friendly & assisted with delivering early morning breakfast that we ordered the night prior. It has direct access to the water (but it is not very clear compared to some other parts of the lagoons). We were able to rent a kayak while here and also had one of our best spa sessions while on our trip. Fenua is one of a kind...

「When we located the property, it was a wonderful guest house. Note that guest houses have shared bathrooms and this one does not state that it has air conditioning. The proprietor was excellent and we loved being able to walk to the beach to snorkel!」

「Make clear to guests that beach is not conducive to swimming due to very low depth and coral that scrapes the hands and feet when trying to swim. I was mislead and persevered until I realized that depth was not going to change.」

「Everything was great. The room was so beautiful. Everything is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have bikes you can borrow for a quick run to the grocery store. We also enjoyed taking out the paddle boards. 」
