Cook’s was very nice place to stay especially if one wants to snorkel to see tons of tropical fish. Clean room and decent bed. Kitchenette a nice feature with good glasses plates cooking utensils and flatware. A little weird having toilet separate from rest of restroom. Housekeeping outstanding. Staff very helpful. Nice pool area with plenty free cabanas and towels. Hotel restaurant has great views but overpriced.

Overall, this is a great place to stay in Moorea. Location is central to restaurants, markets and beaches. Resort is very well maintained and clean, restaurant has a great vibe and atmosphere. Food is prepared well and service was excellent. Our 2 bedroom was situated perfectly with multiple views of the bay and ocean views providing endless photo opportunities. The only shortfall is the fitness center which is basically a closet with 2 pieces of equipment. Just keep that in mind if that is something essential to you. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this beautiful resort and would return again.

The location and setting were very good. There a few things that did not go well. 1. The bathroom light was not able to be turned off, shining light into the bedroom all night. 2. My room was next to the tourism centre and drop off point for the cruise ships’ shuttles therefore was quite noisy at times and made the large balcony not usable.. 3. I was also bitten by a dog on a walk. Fortunately the pharmacy and doctor nearby were very helpful. 4. There were dogs and chickens walking freely through the property- some may not like this. Best part of my stay was the walk to the bar and the view and sunset- beautiful.

It is just amazing. A smallish luxury hotel located in extraordinary views with superb snorkeling just below the hotel pool. Built for comfort! And on a gorgeous island -- my favorite. (Like I imagine Kauai was before they lost the king -- and I don't mean Elvis.)

We really enjoyed our stay at Cook’s Bay. The resort is very small, but very beautiful and clean. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Our a/c was broken the first night and they went above and beyond to help and had it fixed first thing the next morning. The hot water was really hot enough for us, but considering how hot the outside temps are in Moorea, we really didn’t mind the cool showers. The bed was firm, but comfortable and we LOVED the mountain and lagoon view from our room. We enjoyed our dinner at the resort restaurant and lounging by the pool. We would definitely recommend Cook’s Bay and we can’t wait to return to the beautiful island of Moorea!

Perfect resort location on Moorea- the staff was amazing and well exceeded all of our expectations. Arming and Lany at the desk assisted us expertly with every request from laundry to excursions, food, rental cars and everything we could imagine! Le Cooks was such a phenomenal pleasure we ate there twice which is rare for us and the Tahitian show was just spectacular. Well done to this resort and we will be back and be loyal - your genuine hospitality of the team made the difference for us - Mauruururu! 🙏

This little resort is very nice. Rooms are super clean and very modern and chic. A/C worked excellently and kept the room cool. Beautiful views from our corner suite. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They will arrange reservations and shuttles for you. Pool is a perfect temperature. The pool beds and beach beds are lovely! Lots of species of fish and creatures to see if you like snorkelling. We even saw octopus! Very cool! Spa across the street is excellent. Shopping centre and grocery stores a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay at Cooks Bay Hotel & Suites again.

We loved our stay at Cooks Bay Hotel. The view from the room was stunning with a nice big balcony and lots of places to lounge. The kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed. The hotel staff was very friendly and the pool and cabanas were the absolutely best. We also enjoyed the restaurant which had incredible drinks and food. Would definitely stay here again.
