「It's always risky to choose a hotel in a foreign country from your computer, but I really lucked out on this choice. Hotel degli Orafi is a class operation in a perfect location. Right next to the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Museum, blocks from the Duomo and a seemingly endless choice of restaurants. I stayed for one night in a really cute little room. Small, but so well appointed. I left for Tuscany for a week and returned for 2 nights. They upgraded me to a suite which was a real surprise but...
"The location is very good. All luxury shops are located near the hotel.
But the windows are not well soundproofed. Music from the restaurant near the hotel was so loud. You have to wait until 00:30 before the music stop then you can sleep.
The hotel female staff's attitude towards guests is rather cold
Besides from these, this hotel is the best choice when you travel in Firenze."
