"I’ve been staying at The Imperial for years and it only gets better. The new (it was new to me at least) Fitzgerald’s Bar is a thing of beauty AND with excellent craic. The staff is lovely, Lafayette’s is a cafe you never want to leave, and the hotel overall continues to age in the very best way. "Great location and relatively quiet being off one of the main streets. Great pub opposite with live music. Good service, clean and tidy. Decor from the 1980's so it was nice to go back in time. Was here for the Cork marathon, so just needed a bed for a few nights. Great comedy club a few doors up with we booked adhoc on the day we arrived. I recommend!!"
