  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. The whole vibe was amazing about this place i recommend 100% If u got kids the rooms have a cool little bunk bed area. The beds both for adults and the kids are comfortable. We loved this rental 🙌

Great Stay highly recommended.

We loved our stay at the drift! The cabin was clean spacious and I love that you’re not sharing a wall with anyone. The location is perfect walking distance to downtown and the hot springs. Being alongside the river was so nice too! Highly recommend!

Great place to stay. Has just the bare necessities, but everything you need. Very close to hot springs. You will have to deal with the sulphur smell, but that’s pretty much the whole town.

The Drift: Where Chill Meets Charm

The Drift is the kind of place that makes you want to stay awhile. Its vibe is laid-back yet stylish, and even though the staff works offsite, the owner’s father personally stopped by to check in on guests—a thoughtful touch that made the experience feel warm and welcoming.
