"Beautiful place to stay"

"Our stay was exceptional, everything was maintained and very clean, beds were comfortable, staff was very friendly , Pool was very relaxing, also had a counter to either rent a car or plan an excursion, which was very helpful. The breakfast was great wide variety of food and beverages. We were extremely happy with our stay. Very clean, quiet and comfortable, would most definitely stay again. Thank you."

"The hotel is very clean and the pool area and gardens are immaculate, food was quite good and priced reasonably. The hotel bathroom's while clean does look alittle dated , and the friendliness of the staff was mixed.....natalie was exceptional in the main restaurant and many of the service staff were friendly and helpful......however a few were not , and seemed actively disrespectful. So overall i have mixed feelings about this hotel "

"The rooms have everything a business traveler needs; all your needs are taken care of. The beds are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fresh and varied. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. "

"The Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belén is the place to be if you need to stay in San José for one or two days. First of all, the building itself is stunning, and the surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained. It feels like a peaceful oasis and offers a striking contrast to the rest of San José, while still being conveniently close to the airport. The rooms are slightly noisy, but the staff more than make up for it—they are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and service-oriented. The gym is excellent. We were hoping to play pickleball, but unfortunately there was no net available. The swimming pools are a very welcome addition and add to the relaxed, resort-like atmosphere. For lunch and dinner, the restaurants La Castilla, La Isabela, and Bar 10 are all highly recommended. For breakfast, I would skip the relatively expensive buffet and instead go to Casa del Café, where you can enjoy a delicious à la carte breakfast along with excellent coffee and pastries. In terms of price, it was comparable to an airport hotel, but the experience felt much more like a mini vacation."

"Laurie and Miriam went above and beyond to accommodate our late night arrival! Coffee and the made to order breakfast were ready promptly at the later hour we requested, and the company at the dining table made for great conversation. Our stay was short (Juan Santamaria arrival night) but it was a welcome improvement from staying in an airport hotel."
