All the pool amenities and activities were great. The resort staff was great and stuck to the rules. I would say they could lighten up on the required tubes in the river and no jumping in the big pool. Place is for families and my kids got disappointed when they were asked to not jump in the pool at all, not even just a cannon ball. Im 41 and was told i needed a tube in the 3' lazy river. I was just walking around the river with my little kids

Terrible upkeep of townhous

cockroaches everywhere. Insufficient utensils (not even scissors) no where to hang anything at a resort (ie dry your swim towels and bathing suits) not enough chairs outside. Most places had 4 chairs and 1-2 loungers. This place had two Adirondack chairs so could not eat outside to eat. And not enough chairs for our family of four. Three swim towels but we were four guests. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Insufficient garbage bags. No pepper no sugar. No explanation of the resort rules and amenities or hours. Had to find that out for ourselves. Kids rooms beds full of crumbs. Had to remake the beds myself for them upon arrival. No water pressure in main bathroom. Everyone has to shower in the main floor dim extra bathroom. The resort itself had lots of amenities and fun things to do and staff very helpful.

The Water Park was great but not the Townhouse!

The Water Park was great. The Condo not so much. We arrived and the outside was under construction. Paint tarps on the walkway and front porch area. We could not access the back patio at all. The back sliders were all taped off. The fact that the rented the place like this is a disgrace.

I want to be clear that the resort that this unit is a part of is great - this particular unit is outdated, and very poorly managed. We had issues upon arrival when the code they provided didn’t work. We waited almost 3 hours for them to resolve and it was ultimately my husband that was able to get us in. The person that was here helping rushed out and with a quick “sorry” and the property manager who was “two minutes away “ never showed up to apologize or see if we needed anything else. The unit is very outdated - the back door has clearly been forced open numerous times as it no longer locks and is only secured by a doorstop. Kitchen flooring has shifted so much that there are huge gaps in between floor boards; raised transitions are clear tripping hazards. Visible mold in the bathroom showers. Missing batteries in remotes for the lights and the tv remotes had to be shared. Kitchen cabinets are peeling, you can’t open the drawers all the way and there’s no pans - so don’t pick up anything that needs to go in the oven. Microwave door handle is breaking off and the front door alarm goes off just about every other time you open the door or close it. They provided less than a 1/2 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom to start us off - and plenty more. I asked the property manager for the owners contact information and he stopped responding. There’s been no communication since day 1. The resort itself is great for kids - avoid renting from this person.

We stayed at this privately owned home on the FantasyWorld resort property at the end of May 2023. We arrived after 10 pm to find the water at the home was shut off by the city. We contacted the property manager who contacted the resort. The resort could not assist because the home is privately owned. I contacted the property manager again who contacted the owner. As it was very late at night we went to bed assuming we would need to leave in the morning and find another place to stay. At 3 am the city knocked on our door notifying us the water had been turned back on. While all of this was beyond frustrating in the middle of the night it ended up to be really our only issue. Considering the issue was resolved within 4 hours we did consider that quite responsive given the timing/situation. The house could use some TLC as the floors require cleaning, and parts of the home like blinds, picture frames, and toilet seat are broken. All in all we loved the location of the home, which was very quiet. We were able to park right next to the front door of our house. There are full kitchen amenities and a washer/dryer, which we did not use. The kids room was perfect for our 3 year old. A high chair and stroller are also available for your use. Towels and sheets were clean, and the shower provided plenty of hot water for 3 people. The pool and lazy river are great! There is also a playground and other fun activities. Not being part of the resort you aren’t notified of all resort events.

Diese Unterkunft kann man wirklich niemandem anbieten. Schon beim öffnen der Haustür kommt einem ein muffiger Geruch entgegen (Schimmel in der Lüftungsanlage). Die Lüftungsschächte sind genau auf die Betten gerichtet und können nicht geschlossen werden, das ist eine riesige Gesundheitsgefahr für alle Gäste. Die Klimaanlage soll nicht ausgeschaltet werden. Es liegen tote Kakerlaken herum, was bedeutet, dass dort nicht gereinigt wird. Die Möbel sind heruntergewirtschaftet, die Elektrogeräte ebenfalls. Die Mikrowelle ist seit Monaten defekt (siehe ältere Bewertungen mit Bildern) und niemand macht notwendige Reparaturen oder Wartungen bzw. Reinigungen. Viele kleine Schäden im ganzen Haus verteilt. Die Leiter zum Hochbett fehlt und das Geländer ist locker. Wir hatten Glück und konnten die Unterkunft wechseln, viel besser wurde es jedoch dort auch nicht. Kommunikation mit dem Manager war gut, wobei dieser sich ja eigentlich um einen guten Zustand des Hauses kümmern sollte.
