Good Intentions, Fair Reality

First, the house had many flaws which was communicated with owner. The owner seemed to want to know of any problems and was quick to respond. As to fixing the problems, they may have been fixed after our stay. As with many rentals, the pictures usually don’t accurately depict the actual rental. That was the case here. Here were my problems with my stay here: 1) set of bunk beds were all found dirty with a dirty sock in one of them. Owner told, and he immediately provided detergent and reprimanded cleaning company. 2) cockroach found in kitchen 3) noisy location, beyond backyard was busy Highway. Also neighbors were renters too which shared backyard. 4) a/c is locked at 71 degrees. It never kicked in during the evening. 5) uncomfortable furniture, which the owner stated that he would replace 6) not really just across the street from universal, it’s about a mile away The owner seemed to be very communicative and eager in fixing all of the above. It was very easy locking and unlocking the house with my cellphone.

Comfortable, in a neighborhood, close to Universal

This is a duplex and the pool out back was good but you do share with the next door attached duplex but we never saw the other people. Had some problems with the TVs. The one in the main room and the smaller bedroom were Roku but only one Roku remote. The TV in the master bedroom didn't seem to have any connections to be able to use.One afternoon returning from Universal, there was a couple fixing the loose netting around the pool and cleaning the pool but were there until after 8pm which held the kids up jumping in the pool. And it states across the street from Universal, which it is close but not like walking distance. They did let us check in a little early without charging us extra. It is a house/duplex located in an older neighborhood. it was comfortable and had full size washer and dryer. No ceiling fans in the kids or smaller bedroom, had stand up fans but one was too noisy to use. bit warm in the evening but I like having a celing fan blowing while I'm sleeping.
