nice beach, but lot of seaweed. we really enjoyed the beach where front street in phillipsburg is located....spent the day there with beach chairs and rum punches. everyone was super friendly!

There is a clearly marked (and separate) part of the beach that is for nude sunbathers. We stayed at the beach for approximately 2 hours and saw just one topless female and her companion.

Residences have been restored. Lovely French restaurants and patisseries. The beach is nice with plenty of activities.

trouble getting down there. stopped at Kon Tiki because the road was blocked at that point. lounges and attendants on the beach were good, a bit pricey ($45 for 3 chairs and 2 umbrellas) better deals farther along the beach BUT the restaurant was not what we wanted. they had "French cuisine" we were looking for the "scene" like the old days: ribs wings... the beach is coming back and beautiful. be selective about where you stop
