"Wish we would have known that American appliances could not be plugged in. We were unable to use our hair dryer (although there was one provided in room but it was not high quality at all) or flat iron. Beautiful reaort with excellent staff."

Orient Bay has recovered well from hurricane Irma. Many good beach clubs and restaurants to enjoy. The Yellow Sub has a nice happy hour with two for one cocktails.

We LOVED orient bay. It’s not as touristy as the Dutch side but the beach is large and lovely. It is on the windy side so waves are bigger. There’s multiple delicious restaurants. Don’t let the damage from Irma mislead you. It’s a beautiful island.

This is a relatively quiet area. This isn't the spring break party type of area. This was a nice place to bring a partner.
