We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "Only after checking in did I realise how good the location of this hotel is - at the top end of Via Etnea - so walkable to the historic centre of Catania. They have a very good arrangement with a secure car park a 5 minute walk away - 20 euro per night but you can come in and out during the day as required - otherwise parking near the hotel would be a nightmare. Room was really comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size, clean and with a modern shower and well lit. Aircon was very effective. Breakfast buffet was excellent as was the breakfast room itself, and the desk staff were very friendly and helpful throughout - I wished I had been able to stay more than two nights."
