「Hotel is no frills and serves its main purpose. Our check-in experience was ok, room was clean, a/c worked and our bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking and close to supermarket. The front desk needs staff present at all times. Although there is a bell to ring for someone, upon check-in hours and later in evening, and following morning, no one is at the FRONT. Always have to ring bell and eventually someone appears. Neon paper signs taped up in lobby area is a bit tacky. Breakfast is very...

「We loved that the ocean was right across the street, the room was clean and surprisingly quiet, the beds were OK but should be upgraded soon, the management was awesome ,both helpful and personable. We had a great stay.」

「L’accueil a été impeccable et l’hôtel bien situé pour nos besoins. Le menu déjeuné est varié mais malheureusement plusieurs items étaient manquants malgré que nous étions dans les heures de service. D’ailleurs, en semaine, le service des déjeuners se termine à 9:00, ce qui est vraiment tôt à mon à vis.」

「We loved our stay! Its location is excellent. Walking distance to beach, shops and beautiful marginal trail walk to Perkins cove. The hotel grounds were well manicured. Our only suggestion for our room is that it could stand to have a new mattress. There's too much wear with indentations. The two seater couch cushions kept sliding off, so a new and larger pull out couch and a few end tables next to the couch would be helpful. Overall we would definitely stay here again.」

「Had no interaction with staff other than checking. The grounds were excellent with plenty of outdoor seating available and a grill. The porch on the back of our room was a great extra. We used it often. Nicely screened so no bugs Nice location north of the crowded section of town. We had a great time. Definitely would go back.」

「The motel was very clean and the folks staffing breakfast were very helpful. Calling after hours, the person responding was barely audible, there was some frightening activity in the parking lot and when I got to my motel room, the lock on the motel door was a push button in the doorknob, the kind you can open with a bobby pin. The doors need actual locks. Our room was also next to the dumpster.」

「Very clean, modern and comfortable. The nice touches they do with the infused water, specialty signature drink and the rooftop deck is a huge plus. This is my favorite hotel in Portsmouth. My only problem with this last stay is the “harbor view” rooms are no long harbor view. They are of new condos blocking any view from the hotel except maybe on the top floor. This should be updated by the hotel booking options because I paid extra for a harbor view room and did not get a view at all! However,...
