I think a lot of the Onsen properties are on the hillside above the city proper which is down the hill quite a ways. You need to drive to get to downtown area which is rather bustling. It was nice to be in a quiet area. Just a short drive is everything you need including lots of good eateries they're quite reasonable.

I really want to line this hotel and it's onsen, but it's just a little lacking. They renovated 2 years ago and the large outdoor pool is no longer heated. It's extremely cold, even in May which is a disappointment.

2年前泊まった時は、チェックアウト後も庭園プールで遊べたのですが、今回は、3時からとなっており、残念ながら、孫を楽しませる事が出来ず残念でした。
庭園プールに、サウナが出来ていました。冬でもプールを楽しめます。

スーペリアトリプルルームを利用しました。部屋は広くベットも大きく快適に過ごすことができました。ただ、部屋に浴槽があったらいいなと思いました。 こちらのサイトでは部屋の予約だけでしたが、受付で朝食を付けてもらえました。朝食の値段はそんなに高くなかったと思います。バイキング形式で美味しかったです。 中国からの団体客が多くおり、日本人の利用者は少なかったように思います。 あと、カーテンが見たことないくらいシワくちゃでびっくりでした。 混浴も利用しましたが、子供と遊びながら入れてとても良かったです。海外からの観光客が多い分、あまり周りを気にせず過ごせた気がします。 贅沢気分を味わえました。

大きくはないが定期的に部屋に響く「コンコン」という音が特に就寝中気になり、熟睡出来ないのが辛かった。また、部屋の空調は全館統一で、この時期(12月)は暖房になっているとの事でしたが、MAXに上げても暖かい風が出なくて寒かったです。表示は冷房となっており、こちらでは変更不可でした。

外国の団体様、優先かと感じました。チックイン時に、朝食は団体さんが多いので時間をずらした方がいいとの内容だったので、一時間遅く食事に行きました。残り物感が強く、ご飯は底の方に少し残ってました。食事中も係員の方がガチャガチャとうるさく落ち着けない。
